Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING . Remove the right and left windshield garnish moldings. Refer to WINDSHIELD UPPER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT . Remove the right and left instrument panel outer trim covers. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REPLACEMENT . Remove the right instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT SIDE .
1	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (Qty: 7) CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE . Procedure Remove 2 plastic covers in order to access the upper bolts. Tightening torque 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Cluster Trim Bezel to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Screw (Qty: 2) Tightening torque 2 N.m (18 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Bolt (Qty: 4) Tightening torque 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Assembly Procedures Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the upper trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
5	Retainer Clip (Qty: 3)
