Passenger-Side Inflator Module: Installation

To install, position passenger-side inflator module into vehicle upper dash pad. Install 5 retaining screws. Torque 2 upper side screws to 49 INCH Lbs. (5.5 N.m) and 3 bottom center screws to 198 INCH Lbs. (22.5 N.m). See Fig 1

Reconnect the passenger-side inflator module connector and re-engage the CPA clip. Activate the SIR system. Refer to procedures in DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
