Overview - Navigation System

The navigation system is integrated in the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

There are the following versions:

Pre-installed navigation with optional function activation, 7UZ. Refer to OVERVIEW - INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM .
MMI Navigation plus, 7UG. Refer to OVERVIEW - INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM .

With the pre-installed navigation with optional function activation (7UZ) all components for he navigation are present in the vehicle. The respective circumferences must be activated for the navigation functions.

For the MMI navigation plus (7UG), the navigation data is stored on an internal hard drive disc.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding" on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
