Transmission, Removing, Vehicles With Diesel Engine

Brief Description

The transmission is removed downward separately. The engine remains in the vehicle.

Remove the battery, the battery tray and the air filter housing >>from above<<. Engine and transmission are then supported so that the left subframe mount can be loosened.

>>From below: <<

The pendulum support and the left drive axle are removed. The right drive axle remains installed in the wheel bearing housing, it is only pivoted to the side.

The subframe remains in the vehicle.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
