Transmission, Removing, Vehicles With Gasoline Engine, AWD Vehicles
Brief Description
The transmission is removed downward separately.
>>From above:<<
Battery disconnected and when it is located engine/motor compartment, removed. Air filter and starter removed. Engine and transmission are supported before the left subframe mount is removed.
>>From below:<<
The -subframe- is removed together with the -pendulum support-. The -steering gear- remains in the vehicle.
Both drive axles are disconnected from the transmission and remain inside the wheel bearing housings. Occasionally they will be moved to the side, but they still remain on the vehicle.
