Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

Before installing the bolts the transmission mount and transmission must be completely parallel to each other. Push the rear of the transmission upward using a floor jack if necessary.

-- Secure the transmission support to the longitudinal member.

-- Lift the transmission using the engine support bridge spindle until the transmission touches the support arm of the transmission mount.

-- Position the bolts by hand. While doing so, make sure that the bolts are not installed crooked.

-- Check the adjustment of the subframe mount. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNT, CHECKING ADJUSTMENT .

-- When the bolts are tightened to the tightening specification, remove the Engine Support Bridge:10 - 222 A  from the engine.
