Transmission Fluid Screen, Removing And Installing

Transmission Fluid Screen, Removing

-- Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the transmission fluid screen bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the transmission fluid screen -A- from the valve body.

Transmission Fluid Screen, Installing

-- Lightly coat the seals on the transmission fluid screen suction collar with ATF.

-- Replace the transmission fluid screen if the seals are loose or faulty.

-- Mount the transmission fluid screen -A- on the valve body and tighten the screws -arrows- to the tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - VALVE BODY .

-- Install the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the ATF, and check the ATF level and add ATF if necessary. Refer to ATF, DRAINING AND FILLING .
