Handle with Shift Cover
- Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. Only the cover must be unclipped for the emergency release. Refer to EMERGENCY RELEASE FROM P, ECS .
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 8 Nm
- Quantity: 4
Selector Mechanism
- With integrated Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module -J587- with Selector Lever -E313-, Tiptronic Switch -F189-, Selector Lever Park Position Lock Switch -F319- and Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-.
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Selector Lever Cable
- Do not grease the selector lever cable.
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ECS .
- Checking. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
- Adjusting. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
Lock Washer
- Replace after removing
Hex Nut with Collar
- 8 Nm
- Quantity: 4
Selector Housing
- Available only together with the selector mechanism. Refer to the Parts Information.
Cover
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- 20 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- For attaching the cable bracket to the transmission
- Quantity: 2
Transmission
Lock Washer
- Replace after removing
- Installed location: the offset side faces forward, toward the front of the vehicle.
Bolt
- 13 Nm
- Selector lever cable adjusting bolt
Lock Washer
- Replace after removing
