Selector Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable.
Do not lubricate the selector lever cable.
-- Carefully push the selector lever cable onto the selector lever and insert it into the cable bracket.
-- Install the heat shield under the selector mechanism.
-- Install the exhaust system and align it without tension. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or OVERVIEW - MUFFLER (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Attach the front and rear tunnel braces to the body. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
-- Check the selector mechanism. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .
-- Install the engine cover with the air filter. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (DDSA, DDSB) .
