Engine and Transmission Holder VAS 6095

-- Drain the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Install the holding fixture VW 540 to the transmission -arrows-.

-- Install the transmission using the shop crane - load cap = 700-1200 KGVAS 6100 to the holding fixture VW 313 or the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.

WARNING:

Center of gravity of transmission is outside center of rotation at holding fixture. To prevent back swing, a second technician must hold transmission housing when rotating the transmission on the transmission support VW 313.
