MULTIFUNCTION Transmission Range Switch F125: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following: 

-- Install the multifunction transmission range switch -4- to the selector shaft -6-.

-- Install the switch bolts -5- hand tight.

-- Install the washers -2 and 3- onto the selector shaft -6-.

-- Install the washer -2- with the hooks facing up and with the long narrow guide into the long narrow depressions in the selector shaft -6-.

-- Install and tighten the nut -1- to 7 Nm.

-- After tightening the nut -1-, secure it by bending the hooks on the washer -2- downward.

-- Replace the washer if a hook breaks off.

-- Adjust the multifunction transmission range switch. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH, ADJUSTING .
