A/C Compressor

Removing 

-- Extract refrigerant e.g. using A/C service station VAS 6007A (ROB134APF), only then open the refrigerant circuit. See notes, Wagon (2009-2011) and Sedan Through MY 2010 REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT COMPONENTS OVERVIEW  .

-- Removing ribbed belt, refer to [For transmission(s) 0A4, 09G] [For engine(s) CBTA, CBUA] Removal and Installation or refer to [For transmission(s) 02E, 02Q] [For engine(s) CJAA] Removal and Installation .

-- Remove noise insulation beneath engine. Refer to Description and Operation .

WARNING:

There is a danger of ice-up.

Refrigerant leaks out if refrigerant circuit is not discharged.

Refrigerant must be extracted before opening the refrigerant circuit. If refrigerant circuit is not opened within 10 minutes of extraction, pressure may form in refrigerant circuit due to evaporation. Extract refrigerant once more.

-- Remove the bolts (22 Nm ± 1 Nm) -1- from the A/C compressor and then disconnect the refrigerant pipes from the A/C compressor.

-- Remove the hex bolts (25 Nm) -2- and the A/C compressor.

Installing 

NOTE:

Make sure alignment bushings -3- are seated correctly.

Pay attention to notes for installing A/C compressor A/C COMPRESSOR, INSTALLATION INFORMATION .
