Instrument Cluster

NOTE:

Prior to replacing instrument cluster, perform work sequence adaptation/replacing in order to read out the data stored in the control module. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, ADAPTATION/REPLACING .

Removal 

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

-- Unclip the steering column trim gap cover from the instrument panel (steering column trim must not be removed). Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove mounting bolts -arrows- of instrument cluster.

NOTE:

The fixed electrical connection to the instrument cluster is disconnected automatically when the cluster is pulled out of the instrument panel opening. Harness connector is installed permanently in vehicle and is disconnected automatically when pulling out instrument cluster.

-- Pull instrument cluster out of instrument panel.

Installation 

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
