MULTIFUNCTION Transmission Range Switch, Adjusting
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Setting Gauge -T10173-
-- Move the selector lever into the "N" position.
-- Do not bend the selector lever cable.
Prerequisites:
- The selector lever cable is disconnected from selector shaft lever
- The selector shaft is in the "N" position.
- The bolts for the multifunction transmission range switch -F125- have been loosened.
- The selector shaft lever is removed.
Procedure
-- Install the setting gauge -T10173- on the selector shaft -2- and turn the multifunction switch -1- just until the setting gauge locks onto the tab on the multifunction switch connector.
-- Use the bolt -3- to secure the setting gauge to the selector shaft -2-.
-- Tighten the multifunction switch bolts -arrows- to 6 Nm.
-- Remove the setting gauge.
-- Further installation is performed in the reverse sequence. Refer to Installing .
