DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

| 2 | OCM power supply and ground circuits check
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. | Repair OCM power supply or ground circuit. |

Is measured resistance 1Ω or less? |
Go to Step 4. | Repair open or high resistance in defective circuit. |

Is resistance infinite? |
Go to Step 5. | Repair short to ground in defective circuit. |

Is each measured voltage 0 V? |
Go to Step 6. | Repair short to power supply in defective circuit. |

Is DTC B1317 still indicated? |
Replace seat cushion built in OCM with sensor mat. If DTC still exists, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. | Intermittent trouble. Check intermittent trouble. |
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC CLEARANCE , if any DTC is detected.
- Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
