DTC Clearance

- Confirm ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
- Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1) located on underside of instrument panel at driver's seat side.
Special Tool
- SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT)
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
- Erase DTC according to instructions displayed on SUZUKI scan tool. Refer to SUZUKI scan tool operators manual further details.
- Perform DTC CHECK and confirm that normal DTC (NO CODES) is displayed and not malfunction DTC after completing clearance.
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF", and disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.NOTE: If DTC B1013, B1021, B1024 or B1025, B1026, B1028, B1029, B1220 or DTC B1221 is stored in SDM, it is not possible to clear DTC.
