DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
OCM operation check 
  1. Leave vehicle for about an hour in outside temperature within 10 to 30°C (50 to 86°F) with all windows opened.
  2. Check that the surface temperature of the front passenger seat is within -20°C (4°F) to 65°C (149°F).
  3. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  4. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
  5. Check if DTC is detected.

Is DTC B1315 indicated? 
Go to Step 3. It is in good condition. Room (seat cushion) temperature had been too high or low.
OCM power supply and ground circuits check 
  1. Check OCM power supply and ground circuits.

Is it in good condition? 
Replace seat cushion built in OCM with sensor mat. Repair OCM power supply or ground circuits.
NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
  • Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
  • Clear DTCs, referring to DTC CLEARANCE , if any DTC is detected.
  • Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
