Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT TENSION INSPECTION 

  1. Loosen belt tension by turning tensioner (1) in clockwise direction using wrench (2). After loosening, install accessory drive belt (3).
    NOTE: Do not apply a torque of 59 N.m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft) or higher to the tensioner pulley.
    Make sure drive belt is installed in grooves of each pulley correctly.

  2. Install right side front fender lower lining.
  3. Connect negative (-) cable at battery.
