Accessory Drive Belt Tension Inspection
- Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
- Check accessory drive belt for cracks, cuts, wear and dirt.
If any abnormality is found, replace accessory drive belt, see ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Check which side of indicator (2) the tension indicator (1) is on when the vehicle is viewed from the front.
If tension indicator (1) is on the left, replace accessory drive belt, see ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
