Parameter check
- Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF".
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
- Check "Cruise CANCEL Switch", "Cruise RES/ACC Switch", "Cruise SET/COAST Switch" and "Cruise ON/OFF Switch" displayed on SUZUKI scan tool.
Are they in good condition? |
Intermittent trouble. |
Go to Step 2. |

Cruise control switch circuit check
- Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
- Disconnect "C01", "E01" and "G165" connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "C01", "E01" and "G165" connectors.
- If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" and "A2" circuits: less than 3 Ω
- Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A1" circuit terminal and other terminals at "G165" connector: infinity
- Resistance between "A2" circuit terminal and other terminals at "G165" connector: infinity
- Voltage of "A1" and "A2" circuits: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Cruise control switch check
- Check cruise control switch, see Cruise Control Switch Inspection
Is it in good condition? |
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. |
Replace cruise control switch. |
