Cruise Control Switch Inspection

CAUTION:
Never disassemble cruise control switch. If it is found faulty, replace it with new one.
- Remove driver air bag (inflator) module, see DRIVER AIR BAG (INFLATOR) MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect cruise control switch connector (1) from contact coil.
- Check resistance between "G165-5" and "G165-6" terminals under each condition below.
If check result is not as specified, replace steering wheel.
Cruise control switch resistance
All switches released (OFF): 1920.6 - 2039.4 Ω
MAIN (ON/OFF) switch (2) pressed (ON): Less than 1 Ω
CANCEL switch (3) pressed (ON): 97 - 103 Ω
SET/COAST switch (4) pressed (ON): 378.3 - 401.7 Ω
RES/ACC switch (5) pressed (ON): 756.6 - 803.4 Ω
