Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING . Remove the right and left windshield garnish moldings. Refer to WINDSHIELD UPPER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT . Remove the Right and Left Instrument Panel Outer Trim Covers. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REPLACEMENT . Remove the Right Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT SIDE .
1	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolts (Qty 7) CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE . Tightening torque 3 N.m (27 lb in) Procedure Remove 2 plastic covers in order to access the upper bolts.
2	Cluster Trim Bezel to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Screws (Qty 2) Tightening torque 2 N.m (18 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Bolts (Qty: 4) Tightening torque 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Assembly Procedures Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the upper trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
5	Retainer Clips (Qty 3)
