Water Pump Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: WATER PUMP INSPECTION 

Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the following.

• Use new gasket and O-ring.
• Tighten water pump bolts to specified torque.

  Tightening torque 

  Water pump bolt (a): 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.5 lbf-ft) 

• Refill cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM REFILLING .
• Check for coolant leaks, see ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM INSPECTION .
