CONDITION
The windshield wipers work on only one speed or controls on turn signal/multifunction lever are inoperative.
CAUSE
The wiper motor may be inducing a voltage spike that causes an internal failure in the Body Control Module (BCM).
CORRECTION
If the windshield wipers work on only one speed or controls on turn signal/multifunction lever are inoperative, replace the windshield wiper motor and the BCM as a set. Refer to the service manual for BCM replacement, BCM setup, and windshield wiper motor replacement procedure.
