Oil Life Reset procedure in the Owners Manual and Service Manual does not work.

Incorrect information was issued in the Owners Manual and Service Manual regarding Oil Life Resetting.

Use the procedure below to reset the oil life monitor.

With ignition key ON engine OFF, press and release the "Vehicle Information" button until "%XX OIL LIFE REMAINING" is displayed on the "Driver Information Center" (DIC).

Press and hold the "Set/Reset" button for up to 5 seconds until the DIC shows "100% OIL LIFE REMAINING"
