Caliper Removal

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to VEHICLE LIFTING PROCEDURES .
To retain wheel balance, mark the position of the front wheel relative to the wheel hub. Remove the wheel. Refer to WHEEL REMOVAL .
Remove the caliper brake hose inlet bolt. Remove the ring seals.

To prevent fluid loss or contamination, plug openings at the caliper inlet and the brake hose.
Remove the caliper mounting bolts.
Remove the caliper.
