ABS Check: Notes

ABS DIAGNOSIS CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Malfunction Analysis 
  1. Perform CUSTOMER COMPLAINT ANALYSIS .
  2. Perform PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION .
  3. Perform DTC CHECK, RECORD AND CLEARANCE .
  4. Perform DRIVING TEST AND DTC CHECK .

Is there any malfunction DTC? 		 Go to Step 2. Go to Step 4.
2  ABS Check 
  1. Inspect and repair referring to applicable DTC flow.

Does trouble detected and repair? 		 Go to Step 5. Go to Step 3.
3  Check for Intermittent Problem 
  1. Check for intermittent troubles referring to INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION .

Does trouble detected and repair? 		 Go to Step 5. Go to Step 4.
4  Brakes Diagnosis 
  1. Inspect brake system referring to BRAKES SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS .

Does trouble recur? 		 Go to Step 5. System is in good condition.
5  Final Confirmation Test 
  1. Perform driving test.
  2. Perform DTC Clearance .
  3. Perform driving test.
  4. Check DTC referring to DTC CHECK .

Is there any malfunction code? 		 Go to Step 2. System is in good condition.
