DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
Is there any DTC other than P2282?  Go to applicable DTC diagnostic flow chart. Go to Step 3.
PCV system check 
Check PCV system referring to PCV HOSE INSPECTION and PCV VALVE INSPECTION .
Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 4. Repair or replace.
Throttle body and intake manifold check 
Check throttle body and intake manifold for leakage
Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 5. Repair or replace.
EGR system check 
Check EGR system for leakage referring to EGR SYSTEM INSPECTION (USING SUZUKI SCAN TOOL) .
Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 6. Repair or replace.
Canister purge system check 
Check canister purge system for leakage referring to EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE AND ITS CIRCUIT .
Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 7. Repair or replace.
MAP sensor and its circuit check 
  1. Check MAP sensor and its circuit referring to DTC P0107/P0108: MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW/HIGH INPUT .

Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 8. Repair or replace.
MAF sensor check 
  1. Check MAF sensor and its circuit referring to DTC P0102/P0103: MASS AIR FLOW CIRCUIT LOW/HIGH INPUT .

Is it in good condition? 
Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. Repair or replace.
