Exhaust Manifold Installation

Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
Replace the exhaust manifold gaskets with new ones.
Install the exhaust manifolds.
Tighten

Tighten the exhaust manifold retaining nuts to 27 ~ 30 N.m (20 ~ 22 lb-ft).

Install the exhaust manifold heat shields.
Tighten

Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts to 18 ~ 22 N.m (13 -16 lb-ft).

Replace the catalytic converter gasket with a new one.
Install the front exhaust pipe.
Tighten

Tighten the front exhaust pipe-to-front muffler nuts to 25 ~ 35 N.m (18-26 lb-ft).

Replace the pup converter gasket with a new one.
Tighten the front exhaust pipe nuts.
Tighten

Tighten the front exhaust pipe nuts to 32 ~ 48 N.m (24 ~ 35 lb-ft).
Install the front exhaust pipe lower bracket. Refer to "EXHAUST FRONT PIPE INSTALLATION ".
Tighten

Tighten the front exhaust pipe lower bracket bolts to 32 ~ 48 N.m (24 ~ 35 lb-ft).
