CONDITION

Some 2004 vehicles may have been equipped with an auxiliary harness installed between the clock spring and the main air bag wiring harness. Should the clock spring require replacement, DO NOT re-install the auxiliary harness.

CAUSE

N/A

CORRECTION

The replacement clock spring does not require the use of the auxiliary harness.

WARNING: WARNING: IF THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH THE AUXILIARY HARNESS, IT MUST BE REMOVED FROM VEHICLE WHEN A NEW CLOCK SPRING IS INSTALLED.
