Driver-Side Inflator Module: Removal

  1. Disable SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG  SYSTEM. Straighten front wheels of vehicle and disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove steering wheel side trim cover and disconnect 2 horn wire connectors. Remove 2 Torx head retaining screws from driver-side inflator module and remove inflator module from vehicle.
