TPS Inspection

Disconnect negative battery cable and TPS connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity with selected thickness gauges between throttle stop screw and stop lever. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE  table. If TPS sensor cannot be adjusted to obtain the correct values at terminals "C" and "D", replace TPS sensor.
