DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. B2S2
  3. ECM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 11V
  • Engine speed is between 1080 rpm and 3520 rpm
  • EGT around downstream O2S is higher than 400°C (752° F)
  • Exhaust gas mass flow is higher than 3.33g/sec
  • Total flow exhaust gas: -25g/sec ~ 25g/sec
  • Fuel cut
  • Downstream O2S voltage before fuel cut is higher than 0.55V
Threshold Value
  • When the O2 mass accumulated when the oxygen sensor (down) voltage changes from 0.55 V to 0.15 V during the fuel cutoff is equal to or greater than the reference value
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 valid fuel cut-off phases
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
