DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor HO2S's signal (Downstream O2 sensor signal is too high)
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Faulty HO2S
  3. Faulty ECM (PCM)
Enable Conditions
  • Fuel cut off is not activated
  • Full load is not activated (gas pedal value is less than or equal to 90%)
  • Catalyst overheating prevention is not activated
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold value
  • Downstream O2 sensor voltage is greater than 0.2V when lambda set point is equal to 1.15
Diagnosis Time
  • 7 seconds after lambda set point shift to corresponding side
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
