Test TC-53B - Cruise Control Switch Always High

NOTE: Perform TEST TC-53A before proceeding with this test. After each repair, perform TEST VER-4A .

Using scan tool, read cruise control sensors monitor. While observing cruise control switch voltage, wiggle wiring harness in sections between Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector and cruise control ON/OFF switch 2-pin connector.
If scan tool displays voltage more than 4.9 volts while wiring harness is wiggled, repair wiring where voltage fluctuation occurs. If scan tool does not display voltage more than 4.9 volts while wiring harness is wiggled, problem does not exist at this time.
