Material for analysis can be requested in a Vehicle Report. In other cases, follow normal routines.
VEHICLE REPORT
If submitting a Vehicle Report for a condition described in this TJ, use concern area "Vehicle Report and sub concern area "Support Needed" with function group 2389.
SERVICE
If the symptom is confirmed, replace the low side fuel pressure sensor according to VIDA. Note that the low-side fuel pressure sensor is NOT on the fuel injector rail; it is the sensor between the fuel tank and the high pressure injection pump.
Use VST operation number 28405.
The fuel pressure sensor is no longer on Prior Approval.
