Brake Light Switch

The value indicates the status of the brake light switch. The Brake Control Module (BCM) receives the value from the Engine Control Module (ECM) via the Control area network (CAN).

Active (pressed in) = Brake light switch activated.

Not activated = Brake light switch not activated.
