Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT)

The value indicates the engine temperature. The Transmission Control Module (TCM) obtains the value from the Engine Control Module (ECM) via CAN, where the Transmission Control Module (TCM) uses the signal to control lock up.

Measurement range: 60 - 195 °C.
