Check the connection to the control module: Verification

HINT: After repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified

• Ignition off
• Reconnect the connections, components etc.
• Ignition on

  When the ignition is switched on, the ABS warning light is activated by the control module Check that the warning light goes out after approx. 2 seconds

  NOTE:

  The warning light will not go out if a fault is registered in the control module

Does the warning light go out shortly after being activated ? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
