Preliminary Checks

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1993 Volvo 940. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect fuel injection ECU connector. Fuel injection ECU is located on right side of instrument panel, under kick panel. Push out clip and disconnect ECU connector.
  2. Remove cover from ECU connector to expose terminal identification numbers. Visually inspect all terminal connector sleeves to ensure all terminals are at same height.
