To replace the Lambda-sond, apply some "Never-Seize" Volvo part number 1161035-9 to the threads of the new sond. Fig. 150. Make sure that no paste enters into the slots on the tip, this will render the Lambda-sond ineffective. Torque the Lambda-sond to 55Nm (40ft.lbs).
