Assembly Mount, Adjusting

Procedure 

-- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

-- Remove and replace the bolts -arrows- for the engine mount one after the other (if this was not already done when the engine was installed).

-- Install the bolts loosely.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the transmission mount one after the other and replace them (if this was not already done when the engine was installed).

-- Install the bolts loosely.

-- Slide the engine/transmission assembly with an extractor lever until the following dimensions are set:

NOTE:

Distance -a- = 10 mm can also be checked for example using a suitable round stock.

-- Tighten the bolts on the engine mount.

-- Make sure that the edges of the support arm and the transmission support are parallel on the transmission side.

Installing  :

Install in reverse order of removal.
