Rear Window, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Undamaged window glass
-- Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
Continuation for all vehicles
New window glass
-- Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Refer to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
-- Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIMES FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
-- Apply window adhesive to the rear window all around. Refer to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
Dimensions for bead diameter:
- Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
- Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm
The design of the spoiler depends on the model.
-- Guide the rear window -1- with distance to the body flange in the -direction of the arrow A- under the spoiler -2-.
-- Position the rear window -1- with the centering pins -3- in the -direction of the arrow B- on the rear lid -4-.
Conditions
- If the rear window does not have a centering pin, it must be secured so that it will not slip.
-- Check the gap dimensions with Gauge - Gap Adjustment :3371 while paying attention to the Rear gap dimensions .
