If the emergency battery is replaced, the test plan for replacing the emergency battery must be performed.

-- Perform the function "Telematics emergency battery, replacing" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the control module. Refer to CONTROL MODULE FOR EMERGENCY CALL MODULE AND COMMUNICATION UNIT -J949-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BENCH SEAT  .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.
