Steering Wheel, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:
-- Make sure that the markings -3- on the steering column and the steering wheel are aligned.
-- Make sure the steering column adjustment lever -6- is locked in place.
Vehicles with a multifunction steering wheel:
If the steering wheel with multifunction buttons was replaced, the test plan for replacing the control module must be completed:
-- Complete the "Replace multifunction buttons" function using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Perform a road test.
Condition
- If the steering wheel is crooked, remove it again and rotate it on steering column splines.
