If the diagnostic interface is replaced:

-- Perform the necessary function/functions. Use the Vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the glove compartment lid. Refer to Glove Compartment Lid, Removing and Installing .

Only for RHD

-- Remove the front passenger side instrument panel cover. Refer to the appropriate service information. .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Release the hook -1-.

-- Remove the on board diagnostic interface -3- until the connectors -2- are accessible.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-.

-- Remove the diagnostic interface -3-.
