Front Longitudinal Member, Replacing: Installing: Welding

NOTE:

The straight line weld points must be as far as possible from the outer edge of the weld flange for strength.

-- Fit the new part to the vehicle resting on the Alignment Bracket Set and secure.

-- Check the fit with attachments.

-- Weld the front longitudinal member -1- using gas-shielded arc plug weld seam and straight-line spot weld seam.

-- Install the subframe retaining bracket, longitudinal member reinforcement and end plate. Refer to INSTALLING .
