Connection For External Multimedia Devices, Removing And Installing, USB Connection 1 -U41- In Front Center Console Storage Compartment: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.
-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent the ignition from switching on unintentionally.
-- Remove the center console front footwell trim panel from the front driver side. Refer to FRONT FOOTWELL CENTER CONSOLE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Release and disconnect the connector on the USB Connection -1-.
-- Release the upper and lower retaining tab -arrow- on the USB connection -1-.
-- At the same time remove the USB connection -1- from the trim -2- in the front center console storage compartment.
