Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Put the transmission in the "P" position.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -1-.

-- Press the bracket -2- with the wires still connected to the side and tie up.

-- Drain the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid, Draining and Filling  .

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying due to electrostatic charge.

- Do not touch the connector terminals.

- Touch a grounded object (for example the hoist) and discharge any static electricity.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- by releasing the twist lock in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit :SMN3725  underneath.

-- Remove the clamp -3-.

-- Loosen and remove the screws -1- in a diagonal sequence.

CAUTION:

Risk of injury due to fluid escaping.

Irritation and injury to the skin and eyes are possible.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Wear safety gloves.

-- Insert the transmission and transmission fluid pan -2- using a commercially available plastic wedge and remove the transmission fluid pan -2-.
