Clinch Flanges, Disconnecting

Adjusting
A -
The milling cutter is preset to 0.8 mm to mill steal panels.
B -
The milling cutter is preset to 1.2 mm to mill aluminum panels.
NOTE:
Screw the machine attachment all the way down and tighten the lock nut!
Disconnect the clinch flanges.
-- Position the Flat Head Milling Tool - 6mm VAS 882 005/1 and work on the panel. The surface of the machine attachment, with the desired depth, is used as a guide and depth setting.
Correct:
-- Screw the attachment all the way down into the machine. Tighten the lock nut -1- by hand to lock the machine attachment -2-.
Incorrect:
-- The machine attachment is NOT screwed down all the way. The lock nut is NOT tightened.
- 90° to the wheel arch -A-, correct
- Direction of milling to the right
- At an angle to the wheel arch -B-, incorrect
- 90° to the wheel arch -A-, correct
- Direction of milling to the right
- At an angle to the wheel arch -B-, incorrect
